The edgewise-wound 4-layer voice coil construction means that the wires are pressed flat and packed closer than round ones. The results are higher efficiency, better heat radiation, and lower distortion. Use of a copper cap for the magnet also helps reduce sound distortion.

2cm Wood Dome Tweeter

JVC now offers 2-way speakers with wooden diaphragms. These speakers feature the newly-developed 2cm dome tweeter, which delivers smooth and natural treble that works in harmony with the wood cone(s).
